We also have particular expertise in public, international and human rights law and specialise in work related to the UK-Pakistan Protocol on Children Matters. Our core team consists of barristers and solicitors with longstanding experience of problem solving in complex international law matters.

We are a modern multilingual law firm and members of our staff speak Arabic, English, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Thai, Saraiki, Sindhi, Pashto and Urdu.

We place serious emphasis on the dissemination of legal information through social media and blogging.

Don’t let the old fashioned Pakistani law firms bog you down with formalities, instruct PIL for your legal needs and you can have access to our services 24 hours a day 7 days a week to get high quality, honest, hassle free legal advice at a very competitive rate.

PIL is the brainchild of entrepreneur and legal blogger Asad Ali Khan who is BA, MSc, MA, LLB (Hons), BVC, LLM, Barrister-at-Law (Middle Temple), Advocate High Courts Pakistan. PIL is assisted in its work by a wealth of lawyers worldwide. Lawyers in the group include Kashif Iqbal (a UK Solicitor and Pakistan Barrister who runs an SRA law firm Primus Solicitors) and Advocates Ishrat Ghazali and Mukesh Sharma.

Client care is at the heart of our practice. We aim to provide seamless international legal services to our clients and take care to ensure that milestones are achieved and goals are met. Despite the depth of our knowledge and the wealth of our experience, our ultimate aim is to ensure that robust services are provided at an affordable price.

Our strengths in the law are easily observed in our online legal publishing platforms such as our Immigration Blog and our Corporate Blog. These contributions to the analysis, study and dissemination of legal information match any law firm operating on the European stage. Indeed, our work is very well regarded in the West by academics and lawyers alike and (with great respect to our counterparts in the domestic legal fraternity) there is no parallel to it in Pakistan.

We routinely provide expert reports on Pakistani law to assist English courts in cases and proceedings where issues arise relating to the interaction of UK-Pakistan law. Our reports assist the English court on issues connected to the UK-Pakistan Protocol on Children Matters and the consequences of removing British children from the jurisdiction. We are also well-known for providing expert legal opinions in relation to Pakistan corporate law including themes connected to banking, construction, energy, media, telecommunications and property law and the interface of these fields with civil and criminal procedure. Because of our longstanding involvement in international law, we possess a naturalflair for public law and routinely also advise on the process of inter-country adoption.
