UKBA raids restaurants

UKBA flexes its muscles!

Just as I just predicted yesterday restaurants are going to be tackled quite aggressively by the UKBA post the agency’s revised summary guidance announcement (and of course there’s the infamous immigration cap). Loads more arrests will follow no doubt. But these are not the central London restaurants which I was talking about. A couple of illegal workers in Berkshire are easy to catch but how long will we have to wait before the UKBA can hit home right in the heart of the capital?

In the restaurant on Marsham Street (this is where the home secretary sits, or takes mail sometimes) one day soon perhaps? Or the one near Bond Street which I was last night?

When the crackdown is in full swing the UK’s massive restaurant and catering sector will face a complete meltdown because it relies exclusively on migrant workers. The only question to ask is whether the UKBA can do its job without using the treacherous grass up methods which it currently does? Probably not!
